Second quarter recap

Second quarter recap

We're off to a fast start this year! In our last recap post, we showcased just how busy we were building new features and improvements in Q1. That momentum didn't let up, and Q2 was no different. Keep reading to discover our favorite enhancements released over the past three months!

šŸŽØ New company website

The culmination of nearly a year of planning and design, our new company website beautifully showcases what makes HOA Express the best way to build a community website. It's also built using our next gen front end technologies, making it quite performant, and bringing us one step closer to moving all of our front ends to these new technologies.

šŸ¢ Reseller Portal

For our resellers, we've introduced a brand new Reseller Portal that provides a faster, easier, and more robust way to manage resold websites. Powered by our next gen technologies, it replaces the old functionality found on the former company website.

Interested in our reseller program? It's designed for association management companies, neighborhood developers, real estate agents, consulting firms, or others who want to purchase multiple websites. Reach out to our customer success team for more info.

šŸ” Modernized list of communities

Previously found on the former company website, we've introduced a small dedicated site where users can sign in and see all of the community websites on which they're registered. This is especially helpful for people who are members of multiple communities that use HOA Express. Separating this functionality from the company website helps keep the new company website smaller and more focused. Plus, like many of the new features mentioned above, it's built using our next gen front end technologies.

šŸ“ Expanded beta page management experience

We made significant progress last quarter on our ongoing project to move the management of page content into the Admin Portal. The beta experience now supports the "contact form," "custom form," "resident alerts," "survey results," and "useful contact information" page types.

If you're keeping count, that leaves the homepage as the final remaining page type to support in the Admin Portal before we complete this project and make it the primary way for admins to manage the content of pages!

ā˜Žļø Landline text message avoidance

Our system will now remember when an attempt to send a text message to a landline number (or any other number that doesn't support text messages) fails, and then prevent sending future attempts to this phone number. While it's not possible to know in advance with certainty whether a phone number can receive text messages, remembering these numbers going forward helps prevent the consumption of text message credits unnecessarily after the discovery is made.

šŸ–‹ Blog posts

Last quarter, our newest customer success championā€”Nicoleā€”wrote and published a timely blog article for the summer travel season with tips for keeping your home safe while you're away. If you've got a trip coming up, be sure to give it a read!
