Fourth quarter recap

Fourth quarter recap

Welcome to the new year! Our team capped off 2025—a year packed with new features and improvements—with a strong focus on expanding the featureset available for previewing in the beta community sites. As a reminder, we've been steadily rebuilding our software using next gen technologies for the past several years, and we're nearing the completion of this ambitious project. The community websites themselves are the final piece to be modernized, and we've been building the modernized version in the open (via a beta version) so that our customers can follow along and offer feedback as we go. Last quarter, we made substantial progress on this front!

As we do each new quarter, we've highlighted our favorite updates from the past three months. Keep reading to see what our team has been up to and how we're continuing to improve upon the best website builder for HOAs and condos!

📄 Expanded page types in beta community sites

Although we've grouped these into just one entry in this recap blog post, a great deal of effort went into building five additional page types and making them available for preview in the beta community sites. Those five page types are:

  • Forum
  • General text
  • Resident alerts
  • Survey results
  • Useful contact information

If you're keeping track, just one page type remains: the “Classifieds” page type. And in fact, the work is nearly complete—expect to be able to preview it soon!

➕ Additional beta community sites functionality

In addition to the above-mentioned page types, members can now take surveys and view their communication archive in the beta community sites. Behind the scenes, we've also made a great deal of progress on member settings, account settings, and online payments. Keep an eye out for these features, which will reach the beta soon, too.

⬆️ Longer survey question length

A small but highly requested change: we've increased the limit for survey question lengths. You can now write questions up to 300 characters long!

🖋 Blog post

Given the recent changes to website requirements for HOAs and condos located in Florida, our customer success team wanted to showcase how our product helps communities comply with these requirements. To that end, we've published an informative guide to complying with these new website requirements. If your community is located in Florida, it's worth a read!

Wrapping up

While much of the past three months was focused on the beta community sites, we just released custom text in What's Happening emails and will soon be releasing the ability to write a custom welcome note in import notification emails. We also expanded our engineering team last quarter and plan to continue doing so in 2026, accelerating our product updates even further.

As always, like us on Facebook, follow us on LinkedIn and Threads, watch our changelog, and read our blog for all the latest happenings here at HOA Express.

Until next time.
