Best HOA and condo websites of 2026

At HOA Express, we offer an intuitive, easy-to-use, and powerful platform. We’re trusted by thousands of communities across all 50 U.S. states and in over 20 countries.

While there are many incredible websites on our platform, we’re excited to showcase a handful below that have done an exceptional job customizing their sites, organizing pages, and utilizing features to encourage member engagement within their communities.

Homepage features

The Townhouses of Saratoga in Virginia stands out for its thoughtfully customized homepage. Leveraging many of the available features, the site welcomes visitors with a vibrant banner photo, displays the local weather, and provides a clear synopsis about the community and how to use the website. This creates an inviting first impression!

They also provide a dynamic look at life in the community by adding rotating photos below the sidebar menu. Additionally, displaying upcoming events and newly posted announcements keeps members informed and engaged with what’s happening in the community.

Using interactive pages

HOA Express provides a variety of interactive page types designed to boost community engagement. Page types such as contact forms, classifieds, forums, garage sales, and recipes enable individuals to share information directly with their fellow members.Interactive pages give members an additional reason to visit your community website often, helping everyone stay connected with the latest updates and activities.

The Sourdough Point Owners Association in Idaho created a dedicated “Members” section in their menu, filled with interactive page types that make it easy for residents to share, connect, and participate!

Organizing documents

When organizing files on the website, HOA Express’s folders and subfolders feature makes it easy to organize these materials by topic and year. For instance, you can create a “Community Documents” folder with subfolders for meeting notices, agendas, and minutes, then add “Documents” pages for each year.

This structure is designed to facilitate easy navigation on the site, ensuring that visitors can quickly find what they're looking for and making it easier for administrators to manage over time!

The Sunrise Villas website is a standout example of document organization done well. Members can quickly find what they need thanks to a clear folder structure, and the streamlined page menu keeps navigation simple. They can also easily open folders to access the documents they want, making the experience seamless and intuitive.

Password-protecting pages

With the exception of your homepage, which is always public, you can easily password-protect sensitive pages using our page restrictions feature. This allows you to decide who can view specific content, giving your community peace of mind. Restricted pages are clearly marked with a padlock icon. If a visitor tries to access a restricted page and isn't logged in as an approved, active member, they'll be prompted to sign in.

The Silver Sands Racquet Club in California is a great example of using this feature! They’ve chosen to keep community news and court information restricted to only members, making club updates and reservations secure and easy to access.

Hiding restricted pages

By default, restricted pages are still shown in the menu, even if visitors can’t access them. For communities that want an extra layer of privacy, you can choose to enable hiding all restricted pages in the menu from anyone who doesn’t have access. With this option, visitors will only see public pages on the website, and once logged in, will see only the pages they’ve been granted access to view. This keeps the menu clean and clutter-free for guests, while members see exactly what’s meant for them after logging in.

The community GreenGate in Virginia utilizes this feature effectively, with a brief note on their homepage reminding members to sign in to view more information. It’s an easy way to keep things secure and user friendly!

Adding videos

Bring your community to life by showcasing an engaging video introduction or sharing recorded meetings on your website. For smooth playback, host your video on a free service like YouTube. After uploading, simply link or embed the video on your page by following our easy step-by-step guide: Adding videos to pages.

The community, Thomas Village Patio Homes in New Mexico, is an excellent example. They’ve embedded a video on their homepage that welcomes visitors with extra information and vibrant visuals about their community!

For sharing meeting recordings, look to Papillon in Florida for inspiration. Their dedicated page features embedded YouTube videos, making it effortless for members to catch up on meetings right from the website.

Using custom CSS

For those who want even more control over their website’s appearance, our platform supports custom CSS. This advanced tool is best for those with previous experience writing CSS.

Oak Meadow HOA in Florida is a great example of a community that utilized custom CSS to personalize its tagline, menu, and overall template, giving the website a distinctive look.
