Third quarter recap

As we round the corner on the home stretch of this year, we're hoping you and your community are enjoying the beginnings of fall and all that it has to offer! Unfortunately, our team is still patiently waiting for fall weather to arrive here in Houston... but with the help of A/C, we beat the heat in the final months of summer by continuing to improve our product (as we do every month, of course)!
In traditional fashion, we're kicking off the new quarter by highlighting our favorite new features, updates, and blog posts from the past three months. Keep reading to learn about what we were up to!
🔔 Board term expiration reminder

Community websites work best when the information is kept up-to-date, so we've introduced a handy reminder to help you do that for board members! If you provide an optional term expiration date, in addition to being helpful for residents to see, we'll now use that information to send admins an automatic reminder email if the term expires. If you receive this email, it's time to update the list of board members on your website!
✏️ Improved activities for privilege changes

For better historical record-keeping, activities in the activity log related to changes in administrative privileges are now much more detailed! The activities will specify the exact privileges that were gained or lost as part of the change. A nice benefit if you need to look back and better understand changes over time.
⬇️ Export and delete form submissions

One of our more popular feature requests: admins can now export form submissions for any “custom form” or “contact form” page type! And to help clean up unneeded submissions and make exporting easier, we also introduced the ability for admins to delete form submissions. Together, these improvements make our forms feature even more powerful.
🌍 Expanded international support
We're constantly adding support for new countries, giving communities the ability to set their location within these countries, and giving members the ability to store addresses within these countries. Last quarter, we added support for the following countries:
- Côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮
- Ireland 🇮🇪
- Israel 🇮🇱
- Kenya 🇰🇪
- Norway 🇳🇴
- Switzerland 🇨🇭
➕ Additional beta community sites functionality
As we continue our endeavor to modernize the technologies powering our community sites, much of the progress we made this past quarter was behind the scenes. Even still, we opened the "calendar" page type up to be previewed in the beta version. As a reminder, you can view the beta version by adding /beta
to your community’s domain or website address (e.g., if your community’s domain is examplehoa.com
then you can visit examplehoa.com/beta
to preview the beta version).
🖋 Blog posts
Not to be outdone by our engineering team, our customer success team published not one, not two, but three blog posts this past quarter! The first was part of our "meet the team" series; this time, the spotlight was on Nicole from our customer success team. Next, our newest team member (but only for another week) shared tips for creating a cozy community this fall. And finally, Meredith shared helpful recommendations for using surveys and forms to gather feedback from your community.
Wrapping up
We're continuing to prioritize the migration to our next gen technologies, a multi-year project that's drawing to a close with the modernization of the technologies powering our community sites. So stay tuned for additional functionality that will be made available soon in the beta preview!
